Gynaia Launches to Transform Gynecological Care

This month marks the launch of Gynaia, a dedicated spin-off created by the IOTA team and Leuven University to support IOTA research and education. ROCKETS Study Published in The Lancet Oncology

In this large UK study of postmenopausal women with suspected ovarian cancer, the IOTA ADNEX ultrasound-based model at a 10% threshold showed significantly higher sensitivity than the current NHS standard (RMI1 at 250), making it more effective at detecting early-stage cancers. Based on these findings, the authors recommend IOTA ADNEX at 10% as the new diagnostic standard for triaging postmenopausal patients.
